Dr. Prieto showed examples of occupations that you can have with a degree in a foreign language. He also pointed out job advertisements specifically asking for a bilingual applicant. For example, Dr. Prieto showed a job advertisement for Michelin that asked for the applicant to be proficient in French and English. Many employers are seeking employees that are proficient in another language. Dr. Prieto discussed the importance of Americans learning Spanish.
