Career clusters help you learn more about the skills and education you need to reach your personal career goals. They are organized groups into specific professional fields. South Carolina recognizes 16 career clusters. This week's focus is on Agriculture, Food and National Resources. Job Opening at Harmon Field
Harmon Field is seeking a summer intern to assist with landscape maintenance from June 27th - August 12th. The applicant must have a drivers license and be enrolled in Landrum High School both this school year and next. The pay is $8 per hour, with a one week vacation. Applicants should see Ms. McCrimmon for an application. All applications must be delivered to Town of Tryon Hall before June 3rd.

Town of Tryon Job Opening at Harmon Field
Do you enjoy working outdoors? A summer internship is available at Harmon Field starting June 21st. The pay is $8 an hour at 30 hours per week. The position is only open to rising sophomores, rising juniors and rising seniors. Job responsibilities include assisting in facility preparation for special events, performing turf and field maintenance, and assisting in facility repairs and maintenance. Foothills Humane Society Summer Intern Position
Are you looking for a summer job? The Foothills Humane Society is seeking a summer intern. The pay is $8 per hour at 35 hours per week. An 8 week commitment is required. This position is only open to rising juniors and seniors. The job requirements include strong work ethic, ability to lift 50 pounds, reliable transportation, good communication skills and computer proficiency. Career Cluster of the Week
Each week, a different career cluster will be spotlighted. This week's spotlight is on the Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources cluster. Do you have an interest in working with plants or animals? This cluster focuses on the production, marketing, and distribution of agricultural commodities and resources. Examples of careers in this cluster include horticulturalist, marine biologist, forest ranger, wildlife biologist, dog groomer and land surveyor.
