Job Shadow Day
Job Shadow Day is approaching. On February 1st, students will have the opportunity to "shadow" a professional in a field of his/her interest.

Job Shadow Day, February 2nd
Job Shadow Day is just around the corner. Students can pick up a permission slip in the Guidance office. The form must be completed before Wednesday, January 26th. Job Shadow Day is a national program that gives students the opportunity to "shadow" a person in a career of his/her interest. Students are encouraged to participate. In order for students to be counted as present, a one page typed essay about the shadowing experience is required.

Job Shadow Day
Job Shadow Day is approaching! Be sure to turn in your Job Shadow Day permission form by January 15th. You can get a form in the Guidance office. Once you turn your permission form in, you'll get a packet for Job Shadow Day.
Job Shadow Day is February 2nd. Here are some tips for making Job Shadow Day a success:
Be prompt and punctual.
Be professional. Dress appropriately.
Ask the career professional questions to show that you have interest and to help you determine if this may be a job for you.
Follow up with a thank you note to the person you shadowed.

"Shadow" a Career Professional
On February 2nd, students in the state of South Carolina have the opportunity to participate in National Job Shadow Day. This beneficial program enables students to "shadow" a professional in a career of his/her interest. To participate, students need to complete a permission form and return it to Guidance no later than January 15, 2010.Once the form is complete, students will receive a packet with instructions for Job Shadow Day. A one page essay and questionnaire must be filled out in order for the absence to be excused.
